I was going to do a blog today about qualities in people that I admire and like and also qualities that I don’t like. Instead I’m just going to list them. This is an unusual blog today, but nonetheless one that we’re reminded of everyday when we deal with the people around us.
If you comment on the blog, make a note of at least one quality you like in others and one you don’t care for. It’s kind of a sharing blog today. 🙂
I could go on and on with the likes and dislikes but I’m sure my point is made.
Please comment on what your likes and dislikes are. I’m sure the results are interesting and I’m sure there are some that I didn’t note above.
Enjoy you day and let’s hope our realm of friends, family and acquaintances share the qualities we admire and we rarely have to deal with qualities we don’t care much for.
No one is perfect, and I would never expect them to be. We are all individuals with a few flaws but what qualities do you like or dislike in a person?

What’s wrong with a little honesty? Nothing! As long as it’s presented in a way that’s not hurtful or malicious. honesty is one of the qualities I admire in people. I’ve always found it easier to deal with an honest person who tells the truth, good or bad. I’d rather hear someone’s honest opinion or comments, than bullshit. I can never understand how someone thinks they’re being kind or helpful by lying to you.
People don’t always like to hear the truth. Especially when it’s something that will end up hurting their feelings or destroy the truth as they know it.
This is especially evident in relationships. It’s hard to tell a good friend that her husband/boyfriend has been unfaithful, but in the long run, a good friend would be honest. You think by not telling a friend the truth, that you’re sparing them heartache. How would they feel if they found out eventually, and then found that you knew about it, and said nothing. Then they’re hurt by two people they thought cared about them.
I have two friends that I can be completely honest with and are honest with me. These are people I trust with my secrets and they trust me with theirs.
It’s the same with anything else in your life. A job, family, friends, etc., honesty and truth are necessary for trust.
Who likes lies and betrayal anyway?
